Module positions next to each other in Footer

HI, can anyone help me with module positions in my footer? I wish to have 3 different modules side by side in one position. Right now each module that I try to add next to the first module is going under it. I did try to use custom CSS but not sure if I'm doing it right.

Hello

Rather than using the 'footer=#' module position, try using the 'base-#' modules positions instead (base-1a, base-2 & base-3).
