Hi,

This is not a question, just a comment about something that happened to me in case it is useful to somebody else.

I am using your mod_j51news in one of my projects.

I was trying to use two different overrides of the module layout (override1, override2) but my output corresponded to the default.php override.

However, in the module options I was selecting the override1 or the override2

I solved this problem substituting

require(JModuleHelper::getLayoutPath('mod_j51news'));

by

require JModuleHelper::getLayoutPath('mod_j51news', $params->get('layout', 'default'));

in the module file mod_j51news, line 20

Best regards and thank you for your work.

Berta

Hi Berta

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for sharing your solution. We intend to apply this fix to the next round of module updates.
