mod imagehover background color does not change

Hi. I purchased the mod imagehover and have the following issue: I have set the Hover Effect and I have chosen a Hover Background Color. At the front end no matter what hover Background Color I choose the hover color does not change. It remains the same a green color which I have not chosen and do not know where it came from.
Please help.

Hi Athina

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.j51imagehover figcaption {

    background-color: var(--j51-overlay-color) !important;

}
