Hi all
when I want only 1-2 news on main site I goes to setting:

but when I set leading Arcticle to 1 these error raise:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'active' in /var/www/ud06_53/html/lb_portal
/templates/j51_arkadia/html/pagination.php on line 95
Warning: Illegal string offset 'active' in /var/www/ud06_53/html/lb_portal/templates/j51_arkadia/html/pagination.php on line 101

Warning: Illegal string offset 'active' in /var/www/ud06_53/html/lb_portal/templates/j51_arkadia/html/pagination.php on line 101

by set it on 2 it is ignored and all news (currently 3) are displayed. any idea whats going wrong?

Hi Straight Shooter

To amend try deleting your templates pagination.php (../templates/j51_arkadia/html/pagination.php)..

If that doesn't recolve the issue may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation and we will examine the issue furhter.

If you could send both we will amend both issues for you. FTP access can be to your templates folder only.

Hi Mike

Not sure if I understand you correctly. Would you have a URL to an example of this issue?

Hi Ciaran,

you can take the login I send you,its still vialid for this:

how you can see, I have set one main category "News" and a sub "World of Tanks"

when I now set to a article the sub category, with flag "Featured=Yes" for main page, it is not displayed. only when it is in the main category

I expect, when I select Featured = Yes that it is displayes on main blog, equal which category

Hi Mike

I believe by default Joomla will not show articles in sub categories with the 'Featured Articles' menu item (to confirm this maybe switch to a default template and refresh the page). Have you considered using a 'Category Blog' menu item instead?
