Menu on j51_ensley J4 version

Hello Ciaran,

I have a little issue with the main menu on the Ensley J4 version.
If I compare it with the J3 version I see that there is no parent indicator on the first menu level as it was in J3 version.
See J3 version:

and J4 version:
j4_ensley_menu.jpg

The code looks like this in J3 Ensley:


<a href="/de/ueber-uns">Über uns<span class="parent-indicator" aria-hidden="true"></span></a>


and in J4 version:


<a href="/_dsc/de/ueber-uns">Über uns</a>


Do you have an idea to fix this easily or what can I do?

I added the two links to the current J3 live version and the migrated J4 version on one of our development servers.

Hi Oliver

May I ask if this issue is present regardless of the menu item type? If for example your parent item is a separator, heading, article link etc.?

I was able to find the issue and I have just created an update which includes a fix. Thank you for reporting :).

If the issue persists after updating, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
