menu item opens new tab

Some of The menus on the left open a new tab. How can I disable that? It must be in the template somewhere.

They are in your menu named Joomla51.
I could not find a reference to opening new tabs.

Hello

The 'Target Window' field appears to be edited from the default for each of your menu items. Navigate to each menu items settings (Menus -> [YourMenu] -> [YourMenuItem] and set the 'Target Window' dropdown to 'Parent'.
