Hello
For the first time, I installed a template without demo content.
I am quite happy with my setup of a one-page website.
Unfortunately I have a small problem.
The “Home” menu item appears in the middle of the website.
If I set “Show page heading” to hide in the menu manager, Home is no longer displayed but a white stripe remains.
Somehow I'm too stupid to solve this problem.
Can you help me with that?

Greetings Markus

Hi Markus

I don't really understand where you want the "Home" menu item to be located. To the far right? Then you have to change the order of your menu items under "Menus".

Depending on the color of your backgrounds, the menu items are not always visible. You might consider adding a background color to your menu items.

Other topic: The sentence about "Datenschutz" is wrong. You definitely collect personal data from your visitors, at least their IP addresses. So you need a correct "Datenschutzerklärung". For that, you might consider the respective generator from erecht24.de.

Hello Rolf

Thanks for your answer.

I was unclear about the question about the menu item.
Please look at the screenshot to understand what I mean.
The menu item “Home” is exactly where it is, but it appears again further down in the content of the page and I don’t know why.

About the background color:
You're right and I'll add a background color.

Regarding data protection:
Thanks for the tip, I'll tackle this too.

Kind regards Markus[attachment]

Hi Markus

As far as I can see, the "Home" midway along the page is not related to the menu item "Home". It seems to be the title of the Homepage.

You can hide the "Home" by editing the menu item of the home page as in the screenshot below:

Your page actually starts here. Everything above is in modules in "top" positions. That's why it seems to be anywhere in the middle.

Hello Rolf

Thanks for your answer.

That was exactly the tip! Thank you very much.
Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. The saying works quite well in German ?

Thanks once again.

Kind regards Markus

Yes, we could have communicated in German as well! But for other readers of this forum, English is the better choice.
