Using Lifestyle template.

I am trying to add thumbgalleries to custom positions using: {loadposition kitchen-gallery}

Load Modules is enabled.
The module position is set properly.

If I put it in a custom position, none of page content will not load and just shows a blank page.
Viewing the page source code (in Firefox) it only shows the javascript for the thumbgallery...nothing else.

If I use a template module position, it works.
If I use a template module position, and include {loadposition kitchen-gallery}, the page will load, but the {loadposition kitchen-gallery} is not even presented in text (as it would if Load Modules was disabled)

What's Up?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark

May I suggest the 'Modules Anywhere' extension which is a common solution to any loadposition issues...

That is an option, but doesn't address an apparent coding issue for this template that is interfering with the base Joomla code. I wonder what other issues might be lurking under the surface.

I do not have to use another plugin/module to make it work on my J51-Graphik site.

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

If you could also state for us if the issue is just with the thumbs gallery module or all Joomla modules and if the issue is present with any of the default Joomla templates.

Thank you Mark

Strangely re installing the thumbs gallery module appears to have resolved the issue.

Well that's cool. I forgot to tell you I had re-installed it, from the template files, but did not help.
Not sure if that's the latest version or not.

I'll test tomorrow morning.
