Layla - Top menu - Level 3 submenu split and unreachable

Hi,

I purchased template Layla and am trying to use it for the website I am building. However, I encounter a problem with the top menu. See attached screenshot.

In the menu "Producten", there are quite a number of (level 2) submenu items, so I decided to use 4 columns. The mouse is hovering over menu item "Plint". This item has five (level 3) submenu items, which get split into the next column. I think it really does not look nice and moreover the items "Koperen plint", "Messing plint" and "Rvs plint" are not reachable, because the mouse will leave the level 3 submenu before reaching these items and therefore the level 3 submenu will collapse.

I think a nice solution would be that the level 3 submenu simply goes beyond the bottom of the level 2 submenu. I tried to achieve this myself by adapting the css, but couldn't find how. Could you please solve this for me?

Hi Herman

May I ask what version of the Layla template are you using? We have recently (yesterday) created an update to this template which includes some improvements to the main menu child elements.

Hi, sorry for the delay. I tried the latest version of the Layla template and still te same problem, but I already worked around the problem. I figured out that with multiple columns for level 2 menu items, level 3 submenus will not be working nicely anyway. These level 3 submenus will always be on top of level 2 menu items in the column(s) to the right, so will always be in the way when hovering over the level 2 menu items with the mouse.
