Hello,

I am currently using the PianoForte template and would love to be able to implement the Language Switcher module, using just the language flags, within the same area that the social media icons appear, preferably to the left of any icons that appear.

The other option is that the language flags appear at the end of the hornav area, so that they appear to the right of any menu items.

I tried following the various tips and other articles within the forum, however they don't seem to work for this specific idea. For the moment I am simply using a menu item going to the different language site to pickup and switch to the language specific menu, but it would be great to have the language switcher in use so that I can use the article associations.

For me personally, it would be fantastic if the language switcher can be implemented into all Joomla51 templates, as I work a lot with multilingual websites and the Joomla51 templates are fantastic!

Thanks!

Hello

May I suggest the following tutorial which details how to create a new module position within the header area of your template. From this you can then place the language switcher in the area of your choice within the header...

Thank you for your suggestion on placing a pre built area for the language module. It is definitely something you can expect to see in our templates very soon.
