Since I have both German and English speaking visitors I wanted to build multi-languages websites. However, despite following a step-to-step tutorial the module for the language selection via flags does not show up on the website.

Is there anythin specific I need to do in order to get the flags up and runnin?

Plugins are enabled. Languages are installed and enabled. Medule is set and enabled.

It doesn't seem to make a difference which module position I choose, nothin happens.

Hello

Have you followed the details as the following URL as you appear to be missing a couple of steps (no language-assigned content, no language-assigned menu items) ... https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Setup_a_Multilingual_Site
