Hello all.

I use to have J51 templatesfor my website (Substance and Specialized for previous creation), but I have a problem with the new one I bought today.

How can I put a background image as in the demo Kindle template ?
It's a fixed position, behind the and full screen... This is why I bought it, and I can't find the way to do it

Please help me and thank you for your perfect job.

Hello

The fixed background area as seen in the template demo is a slideshow module in the showcase module position. The slideshow used can be found in the same folder as your template in your download. For further details on this slideshow may I suggest checking out the following tutorial.. http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/setting-up-the-j51-slideshow

Ok, thank you. I did not have the good version of Slideshow module. I took the one in the package with the template.
(The field 100% width did not appear in my last version)

But... It's still not working ! Sorry

Do you have a specific format for pictures in this version of Slideshow module, or specific folder ?
Because when i put the module in showcase position, I can see in the background the "space" for the picture, but pictures are not showing ...

I don't know what happened because I didn't have any problem with my other website using Slideshow module

One possibility is the format of your image file names. Ensure you have no spaces in your image file name and that the file extension is in lowercase (yourimage.jpg not your image.JPG).

Are you able to access your images directly in your browser (JoomlaURL/images/Pagedegarde/pagedegarde.jpg)?

Yes you could try re-installing the module and see if that helps. Would you have a screenshot of the modules parameters?

At the end of the week, I will have access to the hosting of my client. So I will try on real conditions and I'll give you a feedback.

If it's not working, I will create an access for you... to find a solution

Thanks :)

That would be great. As soon as you have your site available on a server and if the issue is still present you can forward temporary access details to info@joomla51.com and we should be able to get to the bottom of the problem fairly quickly. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
