Hello!

In the j51imagehover module, we are given the option at add some Alt Tags to the images being added. This is important for SEO. However, when the webpage is displayed, the image alt tag (as seen by inspecting the page) is being taken from Image Caption Title, not the Image Alt Tag. I cannot set the Image Caption Title to the Image Alt Tag as this will be seen by the people viewing the site.

For example, go to https://calmheartsmindfulness.com.au/ and inspect the page. For the j51imagehover module in top3a, the first image alt tag is set to 'Test Alt Tag' in the backend, but on the frontend page it says alt="Who we are", which is just a copy of the Image Caption Title.

is there any way I can fix this so the correct alt text works?

Thanks, Tim

Hi Tim

You can alter the markup for your module by creating a Joomla module override. If you are not familiar with overrides, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will create the override for you.
