Hi there

I am using the Clarity template with the J51 Thumbs Gallery. I have uploaded extra photos to a couple of galleries on our site, however they are not showing correctly as thumbs. On one page the thumbnails for these new photos are showing as small boxes - when I click on the boxes the correct images are opening. On another page, the thumbnail for a new photo is incorrect - it is showing the thumbnail for an old photo, despite the fact that photo doesn't exist in the gallery sub-directory. When I click on the incorrect thumbnail, the correct photo opens!

I have tried clearing recent browsing history and refreshing the page, but this doesn't make any difference. I have also tried removing the gallery from the page, then re-adding it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Louise

Hi Louise

Could you try navigating to the folder that your ThumbsGallery is reading the images from. Within it you will see a folder called 'thumbs'. Try deleting this folder and all of its contents. Hopefully that should resolve the issue!

Hi Ciarán

There were no 'thumbs' folders within the folders that the ThumbsGallery is reading the images from. I have tried completely removing the images and labels from the directories on the server, removing the {gallery} tags, then starting again with uploading the images to the server and re-introducing the {gallery} tags to the pages. The correct images are definitely there. If I click on the dodgy thumbnails the correct images open up. The thumbnails are the problem. I'll email links to the 2 affected pages to you + screen shots of the directories in question.

Appreciate your advice.

Thanks, Louise

Hi Louise

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will make this change for you. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you

We are getting the following error when we attempt to access your Joomla administration login page...

Error occurred: 403 - forbidden

Regardless I notice the ThumbsGallery module you are using is not actually the Joomla51 gallery (sigplus?). May I suggest contacting the developer of the extension regarding this issue as they would be in a better position to troubleshoot.

My apologies Ciarán. I'm so sorry to have wasted your time. I use the J51 Thumbs Gallery on other sites and completely forgot I was still using Sigplus on this stie. I'll get onto the Sigplus developer.

Thank you!
