Hey Ciaran,

I've loved getting to know Joomla and experimenting with the PianoForte template in spare time over the last couple of weeks, and would like to thank you again for your work and making J51 templates so easy to use.

Just a quick question about the thumbnails generated by the thumbnail aspect ratio - they all appear to be the original image resized to a 62px square. Is there any way to improve this behaviour? I saw the note in the Tutorial page about ensuring all uploaded photos are the same dimensions, but it looks like it might just be resizing all to square regardless of their original dimensions.

Any help would be much appreciated - thank you again!

Hi Chris

You can set the dimensions of both the height and width of your thumbnails in your modules parameters. Although this allows you to set the thumbnails to the dimensions of your choice, it is restricted that these dimensions are applied across all of your thumbnails regardless of the original size.

I would suggest matching the ratio of your thumbnails with that of the original images so for example if your images are 600px x 400px your thumbnail should be set to something like 60px x 40px.
