J51 Thumbs Gallery Module question

Hello,
I've looked for an answer on here via the search but haven't found one. I'm having an issue where I'm using several instances of the J51 Thumbs Gallery Module on a single page and the pics are being "lumped" together. Meaning if I have 5 pics in a directory that an instance of the module is using, the thumbs display correctly (meaning you see just the 5 thumbs) but if I open one of the pics in the lightbox, it will say image 3 of 20 where 20 is the total number of thumbs from all the module instances. So if I open a pic and click next to see the next pic in the set and keep clicking next, the pics from other module instances will display.

If you open the first pic under the Chicago Blues Band section and keep clicking next, it will run through all the pics on the entire page. I only want it to cycle through the pics that are associated with the particular group (i.e. only cycle through the blues band pics if Im looking at those) Does this make sense?

Hi Dave

I have created a version of the thumbs gallery modules which places each instance of the modules images in to separate lightbox groups. I have made this update available for you at the following dropbox URL.. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/110280303/mod_j51thumbsgallery.zip

To update simply install via your extensions manager.

Hi Ciaran,

I searched the forum as I was having the same problem with your thumbs gallery, I downloaded and installed the update that you replied with, the galleries are showing the correct amount of images but the lightbox is not working correctly and it dims the whole page including the image in the lightbox.

Before the update the lightbox was working perfectly but was showing the total of all three galleries on the page.

After installing the update above it shows "image 1 of 12" but you can not click next, the whole screen is faded out and if you click anywhere it closes?

Thank you,

But open viewing I updated to the gallery in this thread in order to have three indicidual galleries in one page. Your update has corrected the lightbox problem but it is now showing all the images of all the galleries on the page? 1 of 36 instead of 1 of 12

I appreciate the assistance.
