Hi

I am using the J51_SlideshowModule on Kindle, I have a fixed template width.

The slideshow is set at height of 480px, but this produces a gap below the slideshow of about 97px between slideshow and content, which looks too large a space.

Can someone please help me identify where I can reduce the size of the gap?

I found the following line 228 in the template details file, but cannot find where in the Joomla backend to alter the setting (That is assuming that this is the setting that needs changing! )

<field name="elementcolor7" type="text" default="160" label="Showcase Position Height (px)" description="Enter the your showcase module position height in (pixels)." />

Thanks for any assistance

I am experiencing this same issue, except that my slideshow height is 700px and the gap is about 35px. I did not see such a gap on the demo. Is there a fix for this?

My website is redacted

Thank you.

Hello

Could you try reducing the width or increase the height of your slideshow images. As the slideshow is responsive the image width will always be 100% of the browser window, as your images have a very wide ratio the image height is dropping short of the slideshow area of 700px on smaller screensizes.

I tried that, but I'm still not satisfied with the look. The images are now 1800x1100, which is about the same aspect ratio as in your demo. I have the slideshow height set to 700px. The gap is now gone for larger screen sizes, but is even larger for 1696x1060, 1280x800 and 1024x768. This seems to have something to do with how you are calculating the height of #container_spacer1.

Thank you

I have matched the height of your slideshow to match that of your images (824px) and should be now working correctly. To use the height of 700px may I suggest reducing the height of your images to match.

Well actually the images are 1800x1100 and your adjustments did not seem to correct the issue. It doesn't really matter though because I think I'm going to use the Renovate template.

Many thanks,
