Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

[code type=css]h2, h2 a:link, h2 a:visited {line-height: 50px;}[/code]
Where 50px is your new article title line height.

That was great as it solved the problem of having enough distance between articles. However originally I wanted to change the font-height/size of the font - make the letters smaller. How can I achieve that?

[code type=css]h2, h2 a:link, h2 a:visited {line-height: 50px; font-size:20px;}[/code]
Where 20px is your new font size.
