j51- novah loads very slow

Hi,
I have istalled "j51-novah" template locally (xampp). Now the (almost) empty sites take about 25sec. to load or reload :(.
With other templates it takes almost zero sec. Any idea?

Hello,

I think I know now what the problem is/was.
It is because of the font.
While loading the page the template starts with font "a" and switches then to font "b".
It seems, that it takes long to load font "b", if font "b" is not installed yet.
When I tested the page at the beginning offline (xampp), it took almost 1 minute to load.

Hope it helps to somebody.

Hi,
thank you. Yes, you are right (environment is xampp).
Unfortunately also for me it's not easy to say what the reason was, because i can't reproduce it any more.

Thank you for the update.

It is very hard to say for sure without examining your development environment. Possibly related to the caching of certain resources.

sorry for replying late...
Thank you, but I think it can be declared as solved.
Because it happend only at the beginning (and at local installation) and later not anymore.
Reason? I don't know.
