Hello Ciaran,

I tried to use the J51-Icons module in a base module, but couldn't change the colour. I've found some code in the CSS "nexus":

#container_base [class^="fa-"]:before, #container_base [class*=" fa-"]:before {
color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.2);
}

and I#m wondering what this is good for. After deselcting it, the colour is been displayes correctly.

Can you tell me, if I need this piece of CSS in another part and if the answer is "no" how to deselect it in custom CSS (I don't want to change the CSS "nexus" )?

TNX a lot!

Hi Solluh

May I ask with which Joomla51 template are you having this issue?

Thank you Solluh

As the background of the base modules has a dark color set by default, the indicated CSS is set to ensure all icons in this area have a contrasting color (white) to the dark background. Although this is ideal in most cases, there may be cases where you wish to override this. To do so you can add the following CSS to the Custom CSS field of your template settings (edit color to taste)...

#container_base [class^="fa-"]:before,
#container_base [class*=" fa-"]:before {
color: #3071a9;
}
