May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to [email protected] and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
The issue appears to be present regardless of the template used which would rule out it been template related. There appears to be an issue with the com_content component of your Joomla installation. To resolve may I suggest downloading Joomla (http://www.joomla.org/download.html), extract locally and then upload the folder ../components/com_content/ to your server, replacing the original.
Definitely worth a try. If that fails may I suggest creating a standard Joomla installation via your hosting control panel. Presuming the error is gone, you can then forward FTP access to this installation to [email protected], we will import the demo content manually.
