C,
I have a couple of issues with which you may be able to help.
1) If I look at the js console, it frequently says that it cannot find j51caitlin/js/jquery.stellar.js I don't find it in that location. Does this error message a significance that requires attention?
2) I have a photo gallery extension that tells Joomla to make a link to the mootools javascript library. How is that going to interact with the Caitlin template? Caitlin index.php references bootstrap:framework, not behavior:framework. Could the template remove the link requested by the extension? Could there be two mootools libraries present? At any rate, part of the extension, main image, doesn't appear.

Any thoughts you might have on these two issues would be appreciated.

Hi E

1. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

2. By default Joomla/template will only load Mootools if it is required. I would suggest if possible to find a jQuery gallery extension simply to avoid loading 2 different libraries which as well as slowing down your site may cause some JS conflicts.

Ciaran,
Thank you for the quick reply.
I will look for a jquery photo extension. The mootools/jquery "thingy" is certainly a pain for many.
In the short term, I found a plugin, "Mootools Enabler/Disabler," by Roberto Segura that allows one to -among other things-enable mootools for specific menu items. As such, the gallery extension now works properly.
Otherwise, the Caitlin template works beautifully. I particularly enjoy Awesome Fonts & utility classes.
