Hi Joomla51,

we discovered an issue in the parallax in Ensley and Sophia after the last update from safari. the other browser show the parallax right. the issue is only in safari. if you scroll the site down the pictures in the background doesn't scroll right. You can see it in the picture.

And in Layla you can't hide the articles. you can switch the button to yes, but it doesn't work.

Do you have ideas? Thanks and greetings from Germany. joomla51_1.jpg

Hello

Would you have a URL to an example of the issue? Are you experiencing the issue on the template demos?

Hi ciaran,

We are facing the same problem other people faced. The parallax sections of our website are lagging when a user scrolls on safari. This is for all of our Joomla51 websites, and we have many. I just mentioned the latest three templates that we have used in updates.

We are having this issue with three newly installed Joomla 4 websites:

  • Novah
  • Carmen
  • Hayley

Is there something you can do to help us fix this? Or is there a mass fix you can add to all of the templates?

Thank you

It appears there is a known issue with the parallax script and the latest Safari (https://github.com/nk-o/jarallax/issues/181).

I will release an update to the template shortly.

May I ask what version of iOS and Safari are you using?

We are currently testing on iOS Catalina and Safari 13.1

Hi Ciaran,

thank you, but it doesn't solve the problem. We send you three clips wich shows the issues with the templates about wetransfer. The clips shows the template demo on your site with the new safari and opera with the os bigsur.

And the issue in Layla where you cant hide articles.

Thank you.

Thank you

Strangely we are unable to replicate this issue. Could you try clearing your browser cache and see if the issue persists?

A shot in the dark but does adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your template settings resolve the issue?

.module_block {
overflow: hidden;
}

hi, thanks for your answers.

here are the urls:

http://www.esszimmer-airportstadt.de
http://www.habenhauserfv.de
http://www.holzhandel-janssen.de

the issues were on all pages in the parallax when using safari. before the safari update parallax worked fine. but now it doesn't work. I have no idea why. cause it is only with safari.
