Does anyone have any methods of getting rid of index.php?

My htaccess.txt is .htaccess with RewriteEngine included. Every time I try to turn "Use URL Rewriting" to YES, I end up with 404s.

Hoping someone has a work around, or should I just live with it?

Thanks all!
Kat

Hi Kat

Admittedly, as this is not a template related query, this is probably not the best place to ask. Have you tried posting your query to the Joomla forums (https://forum.joomla.org/)?
