How do I migrate a template from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5

I bought a template a while back and it says its for Joomla 1.5-2.5. I started using the template when my Joomla was at 1.5. I am now in the process of upgrading the site and all that is left is the template.

I tried to zip up my template with the changes I made and some of it worked, but the template settings that Joomla 1.5 shows in the template section do not show up in 2.5.

Joomla 2.5 only shows you the list of CSS files only, not the area where you can add your social network links and the sidebar width, etc. How can I get that area back?

Your Joomla 1.5 template will not be compatible with Joomla 2.5. Depending on the template you are using we should have a Joomla 2.5 version available. If you forward the PO number of your purchase and template name to info@joomla51.com we will reply with the latest version of the template if available.

Ok I sent it.

But that is odd, it shouldn't say 2.5 if it doesn't pass over... the page here

says 1.5 native, Joomla 1.6, Joomla 1.7 and Joomla 2.5. I don't think the modules with it were able to pass over either.

The latest download of the template has been seent to you.

A seperate install file is used for each version, both of which are included with this download. You still have the Joomla 1.5 version of the template installed which is the most likely cause of these issues.
