How can I manage to create a megamenu?

I'm trying to create a megamenu for a website https://der-bewusste-mensch.de/ and I'm stuck. The guide does not bring the result, maybe I overlook some important details. I am using the J51_Maya template. Is there a step by step guide that can help me? Thanks for any support from the community.
