Hi Ciaran,

Looking to change text color and add drop shadow on mouse hover in the hornav menu for Journal. I'd also like to have the current menu selection stay a different color as well. Any ideas?

Hi Nick

Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters editing to your own taste...

#hornav > ul > li > a:hover {
color: #768ca3;
text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5);
}
#hornav > ul > li > a:active {
color: #8996a9;
}

Thanks Ciaran,

The Hover works great, but no luck on the active menu item change. I tried to put a "text-decoration:underline" in the code block to see if it was working, and it does briefly after clicking the menu item, but then disappears on load.

Cheers,
Nick

Hey Nick

Sorry about.. a slight correction to be made with the second part of the CSS...

Replace...

#hornav > ul > li > a:active {
color: #8996a9;
}

With...

#hornav > ul > li.active > a {
text-decoration: underline;
}

Hopefully that should do the trick :)
