Hello,

I'm trying to figure how best to use the LayerSlideshow module. My issue is I would to be able to run two images for each slide - one for desktop and one for mobile (desktop would be wider).

I don't see anyway to do this so I thought I would set up two modules and use "hidden-phone" and "hidden-deskop" in the module class. I've tried it and it doesn't seem to work.

I've attached a file showing the entries in the module class. The software accepts them but they do not seem to be doing anything.

Any advice?
John

Hi John

What you are suggesting should work for what you are looking to achieve. Note that as Joomla 4 is now using Bootstrap 5, try using one of the Bootstrap display utility classes... https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.0/utilities/display/#hiding-elements

You are still having an issue, may I suggest providing a URL to an example of your modules and we will examine this further.

Oiche mhaith Ciaran,

Would appreciate your help on this.

I tried the older style (hidden-phone) and the newer style and could get neither to work.

I have this is in Advanced tab:
visible-desktop hidden-tablet hidden-phone

The page is:
https://www.mountpleasantlibrary.org/hayleyj4/index.php/mppl-menu/home-2

If it would help you, I can set up with access

Thanks
John

Hi John

To amend try using the following classes which will hide the module on phone and tablet...

d-md-none d-lg-block

Good Morning Ciaran

I tried that (with and without the "1 |";) and I get an error message telling me it is invalid.

When I did the older code ("Hidden-phone";) the module accepted it, but it didn't work.

I've attached a screencap.

Hello

There appears to be a space before the classes. Could you try removing this space and see if the issue is resolved.
