Hi,

I'm using the Caitlin template and I'm generally pleased. I do have two questions:

  1. On the screenshot attached, there is a gear icon (used to indicate Print or Email). It is interfering with the text on most of my pages (as illustrated). How do I move it out of the way?
  2. All of my pages have 'Home' at the top of the page (as shown on the upload). How do I get rid of it. It shows up on both the English and French pages.

Many thanks for your help!

Hello

Would you have a URL to an example of these issues?

Hello

1. To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

.maincontent .icons {
top: -50px;
}

2. To hide this menu item you can also add the following to the same Custom CSS field...

.hornav .item-101 {
display: none;
}

The Custom CSS solved the Gear problem - thank you very much.

Any thoughts on the 'too many Homes' issue?

Thanks!

Hello

Have you tried the suggested CSS above to hide your home menu item?

I did try the second piece of CSS, but the extra Home is still displayed.

I am uploading two screenshots: Home and Knowledge Repository. The problem is clearly evident in the Home screen when you compare it to the Knowledge Repository.

I am most grateful for your help!

Thanks,

I have given you access. The issue is occurring with the Skylar template - the print and edit buttons are obscuring text. Have a look on the Home page. Email has been sent - with my thanks.

Hello

Are you wishing to disable the 'gear' dropdown containing 'Edit' and 'Print'?

I actually went back to Kinvara, where there is a single gear that you gave me the code to move. The issue with Skylar is that the gear obscured part of the text on the home page. The code to move the gear that worked in Kinvara did not work in Sklyar. Furthermore, if I logged into my site with Skylar setup, then a second gear appeared to the left of the first one (for Edit) which obscured even more text.

I'm actually pretty happy with the Kinvara - I found the setup for Example 4, which is more of a 'blue' theme.

Thanks,
Flavelle

I played around with the top and the right settings and that seems to have solved the problem.

In the design, I don't display the page title and I move the article info to the bottom. In doing this, the gear icon (for print and edit) does not get moved and overwrites the end of the first line.

I have inserted
.maincontent .icons {
top: -30px;
right:-30px;
}
into the custom CSS and that seems to have solved the problem.

Thanks,
Flavelle
