Hi

Is it possible to use the font "Aileron" in the Kaylee template?

Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul

Presuming this is a non-Google font you will have to add the font manually.

Firstly upload your font files to the ../templates/[YourTemplate]/fonts folder.

Then to actually import these files you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..

@font-face {
font-family: 'YourFont';
src: url('../fonts/yourfont-webfont.eot');
src: url('../fonts/yourfont-webfont.eot') format('embedded-opentype'), url('../fonts/yourfont-webfont.woff2') format('woff2'), url('../fonts/yourfont-webfont.woff') format('woff'), url('../fonts/yourfont-webfont.ttf') format('truetype'), url('../fonts/yourfont-webfont.svg') format('svg');
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}

Once your fonts are loaded you must then assign the font to the HTML elements of your choice with something like the following (Custom CSS field)...

body {
font-family: YourFont;
}

Hi Ciaran

Thanks but can’t seem to get it to work.

I have added the otf file to the template fonts folder and added teh following to custom css.

@font-face {
font-family: 'Aileron-Regular';
src: url('../fonts/Aileron-Regular.otf');
src: url('../fonts/Aileron-Regular.otf') format('embedded-opentype')}
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}

body {
font-family: Aileron-Regular;
}

Still shows Saira Condensed ads the default font.

Hi Paul

Have you uploaded your font to the font folder in your template directory? Would you have a URL to an example of the issue?

This is the path of the font:

http://www.west5web-trial.co.uk/templates/j51_kaylee/fonts/Aileron-Regular.otf

The font should be displaying in the body at http://www.west5web-trial.co.uk/about-us

Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul

I notice a slight syntax error with your CSS. Replace your font loading with the following...

@font-face {
font-family: 'Aileron-Regular';
src: url('../fonts/Aileron-Regular.otf');
src: url('../fonts/Aileron-Regular.otf') format('embedded-opentype');
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}
