Is there a code that would expand the content area of the template to fit a wider screen it is being viewed on?

I am using the template Beaument. My client wants his site to look like https://latite.com/. I've created a design close to their style at http://imagineit-more.com/home-inspections/, but of course it doesn't expand beyond the width of the content area. I believe the latite site uses proprietary software so I'm taking a shot with my question. Thanks for your consideration.

Hello

Yes this is achievable. Going with the simple option first... have you tried simply increasing the Template Width in the Layout Options tab of your template settings?

Going with the simple option will probably work by changing the sizes of some module images. I'll work with this, but need to reposition the menu because it is falling too far to the right. I tried a few code solutions for padding & margin to no avail. Even centering would work better.
url is http://imagineit-more.com/home-inspections/

Hello

To amend you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)...

Edit to taste.

#container_hornav {
right: 50px;
}
