Enlighten - background

When i have a white background behind my page, and the background of my modules / positions is also white, still there is a box around the content with some sort of shadow. This is at the edge of the modules and the background. Is it possible to remove this part and have a complete white (or other color) website without the binding box..?

Yes this should be possible with some custom CSS. Would you have a URL to an example of this issue?
