Hi Ciaran,

I saved one of the J51 Elvira styles with a new name then tried to assign it to menu items. Sometimes I can get it to assign to 4 items if I select one then save, select another and save etc, but never more than 4 altogether and most often none at all.

It has worked fine when I last tried a couple of years ago but I have updated Joomla, other extensions and Elvira since then.

I have Joomla 3.9.2 with Elvira 1.0.1.

Sometimes but not every time that I tried to assign the styles today I had an error message "The security token did not match. The request was aborted to prevent any security breach. Please try again."

I have tried toggle selecting all menu items, doing it one-by-one, making a fresh copy of the original J51 style sheet, copying a different one of the J51 style sheets, clearing my site cache, logging out completely and clearing my browser cache, using Chrome, using Firefox, restarting my machine, all with no success.

System page cache is already disabled.

Any ideas what might get it to work?

Thanks for any assistance.

I am having the same issue using Amelia. Can no longer select Template style for a menu item, although that field flashes on for half a second when the page is loaded. I checked a site made over a year ago with Kodaline and same situation there.

Thank you

The issue you are having is actually a bug that appeared in Joomla 3.9.2. This issue will be resolved in 3.9.3.

Fixed with... https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/23556

Hi Ciaran,

Many thanks for looking into this so swiftly.

I remember this same issue on a different site a couple of years ago.

I will update to 3.9.3 as soon as it is released and post here.

Hi Ciaran,

I updated my site's Joomla core to 3.9.3 today.

I made a fresh copy of an existing style in templates:styles then was able to assign it to any (and as many) menu items as I wished.

Thank-you very much for pointing me to the fix.
