I am using the Stella template - one page website. But the question could be for all templates.
What would be the best way to have front-end edits open on a blank page? When I train a client to use front-end editing, they get confused when they have to scroll around to find the edit screen which always appears in the main content area. Couldn't we make this to always open so it ONLY displays the currently edited content?
Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion. I did use the Editor Template plugin. It works for articles but with a small modification, it now opens modules on a blank page also. Works very well. Thanks!

Hello

Indeed this is very true, however, I'm sorry to say it is something that can not be changed at a template level. It needs to be changed in either Joomla core or by the use of a 3rd party extension. You might find something here... https://extensions.joomla.org/tags/editing/
