Just to weigh in my thoughts. SnipCart is great if you are looking for something quick and simple to set up and best suited for a small number of products. The downside is the commission they take for providing the service is a little high. Admittedly only marginally more than Paypal.

I have Installed Snip Cart and "Nearly" have it working.... However , Layer-slide module has stopped working since I installed the Jquery in the header.....
When I took the Jquery away the slideshow worked again. Currently the jQuery is Not there

I submitted help request to Snipcart.. they say
"It looks like that the value of data-item-url is not set properly. This is causing some issues with our order validation process. Can you please share that information with the plugin developers? On our end, we can't really do anything about that."

Joomla by default loads a version of jQuery (a rather old version) so we don't include in our templates. Some modules that also support older versions of Joomla may attempt to load jQuery. I find the best solution is to install the jQuery Easy plugin which allows you to load the jQuery version of your choice and also ensures that only one copy of jQuery is been loaded across your site (regardless of what modules are installed).

Does setting up SEF URLs resolve this issue? The data-item-url appears to be set however I am assuming the 'index.php' in the URL might be causing some issues.

I have found that a SnipCart module with a single product in a Single page does not carry the data item URL. it does carry the domain URL but nothing more.....

Any ideas?

Could you try installing the attached. This will give you a Data Item URL field so you can define the exact data-item-url attribute for each of your products.

That fixed the problem Ciaran. Thank you. The Shopping cart now processes a sale. Whhat more could i want?......

well..... Just one more wee thing I forgot to mention. The Button Text input option does not come across in the front end. Is that something I could address?
