Hello,

I have created a full site starting from a Joom51 demo pack (with a mix of Calibra and Cashmere) on it.
This config info says it runs on a Joomla 3.3.6 engine.

Question: does the demo packs include the "full standard" Joomla functionality ?

I ask this because Versioning of articles does not work (it says "404 - component not found";) when I click on the Versioning button) though versioning is enabled in configuration and the Versions button is there when editing articles.

Btw: debugging mode with full dev info does not bring more details about the problem.

Any idea ?

Thanks in advance,
-michel

Hi Michel

The demo installer includes "full standard" Joomla functionality. Could you confirm for me that you have 'Save History' enabled in your article options (Content -> Article Manager -> Options -> Editing Layout)?

Yes Ciaran, it is enabled, with 10 versions.
The Versions button comes when editing articles, as well.

Is there a "versioning component" somewhere, I cannot find it in components, modules, extensions and plugins.

Cheers,
-michel

Hi Ciaran,

Using Extension Management -> Discovery -> click on Discovery, I produced a list of items that were not installed perhaps due to an install issue with 3.3.6 or an update issue from 3.2 (if done) -- anyway the Content History component popped in and I could instal, and now Versioning seems to be operational !

Thanks for your support,
-michel
