Hello,

I am working with designing 3 websites.. all link together.. I have found that what takes up most of my time is the customization of such elements like the contact form (change the color and appearance), installation of code for widgets for my social media sites, etc., Is there any quick, way to customize the contact form, change the appearance, background. I've tried installing code for my social media sites.. and I hate searching and trying to find the best Joomla widget to download and it not work properly or they ask for payment.

For example, I would like to use my live tweets, FB photo pile.. yes they offer code and I'm using one.. but the nice layouts are difficult to insert the code. I have installed a Joomla function to change between various code editors (Tiny MCE, None, Mirror), but I still struggle with the html code being stripped.

Any suggestions? April

Hi April

Not sure if I understand your query correctly. Sorry to say your templates do not include any options to style the contact and other such elements via the templates parameters. your only option is to style these elements using some custom CSS however that would require some knowledge in CSS and HTML. Other than the only other option would be to use a 3rd party extension.

Ciaran,

Thanks you answered my question and it's exactly what I've been doing. I think the struggles are Joomla because in the past I've used a more expensive (don't want to pay) program and inputting CSS was so easy.. my sites were up in a week. But the service was costly. I stay on and tread the waters.. I have other options for forms which work well with Joomla.. just asking. Thanks again.
