creation and author want remove

I am trying to get the creation date to NOTshow up on the home page of my web site. I have selected "Hide" on the menu item and also on the article manager item "Options". On the actual article, Which is Featured, I have selected to hide the date... however, it still shows up on the home page (featured article) but not on the actual about page.

any suggestions

I have changed the settings of the 'Creation Date' in your home menu items parameters which was set to 'show' and it is no longer showing on your homepage.
