Hello

Presuming I understand you correctly the content background uses a single image tiled which you can edit directly. You will find this image located at ../templates/j51_arkadia/images/content_bg.png from the root of your Joomla isntallation (http://demo.joomla51.com/0093/templates/j51_arkadia/images/content_bg.png).

****************PROBLEM ONE*****************
Hi i have manage to change the bg color on the background.
I have a problem with the container_header. When i put in this code below in the custom CSS
(
#container_header .wrapper960 {background: #FFFFFF !important;border-style:solid;
border-width:30px;border-color:white}
)
The right side of the container_header doesn't align with the body and the footer.
These are the code for the body and footer

(
#container_main .wrapper960 {background: #FFFFFF !important; border-style:solid;
border-width:30px;border-color:white}
#container_base .wrapper960 {background: #FFFFFF !important;border-style:solid;
border-width:30px;border-color:white}
#container_copyright .wrapper960 {background: #FFFFFF !important;border-style:solid;
border-width:30px;border-color:white}

)

Problem 1

Try replacing the following custom HTML...

<div class="wrapper960" id="header_bg"> </div>

With...

<div id="header_bg"> </div>

Problem 2

Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

body {color: #435d79;}

Where #435d79 is your new default text color.

Hello

Have you considered using a text separator (Menus -> [YourMenu] -> Text Separator) for your parent menu item?
