Color of font for mobile menu items (Hayley template)

Good Morning Ciaran

Greetings from a white and cold NY.

Could you please tell me how I can control the color of the menu items for the mobile version of our site?

At the moment we have a background color that we like but it doesn't work with white font.

Actually I think I might have figured it out. Added this to the CSS in the responsive options. Is this the right way to do it?

.slideout-menu .menu a {
color: #2b2b2b;
opacity: .9;
cursor: pointer;
display: block;
}
