For some reason I cannot figure out the Clarity template is not showing ReCaptcha if a new member is trying to create an account. My site is here.

The Global Configuration is set to Captcha - Recaptcha. The Captcha - Recaptcha plug-in has the public and private keys entered.

Any help appreciated and I've sent administration back-end access information to you Ciarán,

Hi Wayne

The issue is still present when any of the default Joomla template is enabled which would indicate the issue is not template related. You appear to have a large numbers of plugins installed which may be causing a conflict somewhere. May I suggest disabling any 3rd party plugins that you are not using (Extensions -> Extensions Manager).

Note: To disable 3rd party plugins navigate to your Plugin Manager (Extensions -> Plugin Manager). Sort your plugins by ID in decending order. 3rd party (non Joomla) plugins will be listed first and will have an ID number significantly higher than your Joomla plugins which will usually be in the 400 to 500 ID range.

Morning Ciarán,

I checked those plugins that are active. There are 58 active of which 38 are Joomla plug-ins. Of the remaining 20 most of them are Akeeba with a couple for the JVoteSystem plug-in, one for the Reset Hits plug-in, and another odd ball or two.

So..., I disabled all those except Joomla plug-ins, the 400 range as you mentioned, and the problem still persists. I went ahead and re-enabled them all.

I'll pop over to the Joomla forums to see what I can find out.

Thanks,
Wayne

Problem solved and please accept my apology if I came across as blaming Joomla51. I have had only the best regards for your assistance in the past.

The problem was resolved by looking at this thread on Joomla.Org. It led me to discover that the problem had been resolved by a later update to Joomla than what I had installed. So..., updating to J2.5.22 solved it.

Cordially,
Wayne
