Hi there

This is quite an urgent one as its affecting the usability of my site, but do you know what could be happening here:

On my site.. http://www.personalisedprints.net. I have 2nd and 3rd level menu items. If you do a bit of clicking around and then on a 2nd or 3rd attempt try to roll over back to a 2nd or 3rd level menu item, it disappears, meaning you cannot access it.

For example. If you go to Shop by occasion, and then birthdays, (just rolling over, not clicking), then Birthday gift mum, and then design with words, then load this page, come off it and then try again to use the menu, you cannot again access that rollover link.

It's not just on this link it's on all of them. Is there something in my settings that is a problem?

Thank you for your help

Hi Ruth

It appears that there is a javascript conflict on some of your pages with the dropdown menu. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you

I have installed and setup the EasyjQuery plugin which ensures only one copy of jQuery is loaded on all pages which appears to have resolved the issue.

Hi Ciaran

Is there any way that this would have changed the effect of a plug in that I have installed which is called ql tabs, that simply adds in tabs into article content? I haven't changed anything here but the tabs are no longer working.

see this page

Thanks Again

Hello

I am not familiar with this extension but if you wish you can re set us up with temporary administration access and we will take a look for you.

Hi Ruth

Sorry to say I was unable to find a solution with your extension. It appears to use an old version of jQuery (1.2) which I suspect may be the reason for it not working correctly. The Easy jQuery plugin ensures only one version of jQuery is loaded across your site however only goes back as far jQuery 1.3. As I am not familiar with the extension you might have more luck contacting the extension developer to find a solution.
