Hi,
working on Central, there are two problems occuring:

1) Activating social icons in hornavmenu-top, they unfortunately overlap the last menu item. Actually they should be smaller in the height, so that there is a space between social icons and menu.
How can I solve this? I tried different specification in the css, like top and height but none of them seems to work properly (either hover nor mobile display would then display correctly).

2) I enabled the display of menu 1st level on mobile devices by setting in .js "allowParentLinks: true". That works fine, except that child menus are not shown anymore... The strange thing is, that it has already worked once?!?

Any suggestion?

Thank you very much for an answer in advance,

Hello

1. To reduce the height of your social icons try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters....

.hornavmenu-top {
z-index: 102;
}
#socialmedia ul li a {
background-position: -5px -44px;
height: 30px;
width: 30px;
}
#socialmedia ul li a:hover {
background-position: -5px -44px !important;
}

2. Have you since amended this issue as your menu child items appear to be now displaying?

Thank you very much!

@1: that works perfectly well on desktop now, but still there is a problem on mobile view. Neither "display:inline" nor "display:block" in 'responsive options' > 'custom.css' shows a proper layout...
@2: it´s very strange... yesterday it worked once, but then again no child menu is to be seen. Maybe a sort of cache problem?

Thanks for another suggestion,
Best Regards

Hello

1. To display your social icons on all devices add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..

.hornavmenu-top #socialmedia {
display: inline !important;
}

2. Possibly. Have you tried clearing your browser cache? Is the issue present on any particular browser?

Hi,
problem no.1 is solved - social icons work fine both on desktop and on mobile now :)
thank you very much!

Regarding the other problem - still no idea.
I cleared my browser cache (FF) and even deleted cookies but no change. In order to avoid any misunderstanding: the problem that the child menu does not show up occurs only on mobile phone, precisely here: http://www.theworkplaceatelier.com/Neha/index.php/about
Here is a submenu called "publications" which does not appear on mobile (iPhone)
(only the arrow next to the menu title indicates that there must be a submenu).

Hi Pippilotta

Sorry to say we are still unable to replicate this issue testing on an iPhone 6 running iOS 8. May I ask what iOS/iPhone version you are having this issue?

Just to clarify, is the issue you are having present on every page of your site or just on the link provided above? Unfortunately it is very hard for us to troubleshoot when we are unable to replicate the problem. If the issue is only present on certain pages then it would suggest that there is a conflict with a module extension. If present on all pages then it would be more likely to be an issue with an installed plugin.

Hi Ciarán,
I double-checked this mobile issue now with another iPhone and for some reason, it worked.
I´m afraid the problem is due to my own iPhone as it seems to have an extremly sensitive touch-screen. Tipping on the parent menu does not open the child menu but leads directly to the parent. So I need to tip very precisely on the menu in question in order not to fail.
Anyway the problem seems be solved as long as it works well with all other mobile devices.

Thank you very much for your patience and your efforts!
Great template, by the way!
Best Regards
