Hello !
General question.
I can't get the category blog: "Category Blog - Alternativ" to work in different J51 J4 templates on different websites.
Nothing is always displayed. It doesn't matter whether it's a new installation or an upgrade from J3 - to J4
(including templates: Bianca, Riley, Layla...)

(The only thing that strikes me in the options: "Blog layout" there is no "column" setting in J4, there was still one in J3....)

Hello

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hello! Thanks for the offer.
I found the problem myself after a long search.
The error only occurs in Joomla 4!, if you use "Category Blog - Alternative" as the menu item type. and then linked any category.
If you now set the upper first setting: "Leading" in the: "Blog Layout Options" to a larger number than the posts category has, then nothing will be displayed in the frontend!
This still worked with your "Category Blog - Alternative" in Joomla 3!
I put "20" everywhere in the "Leaders" option back then, but most of my categories don't have that many posts... In Joomla 3, the posts were still showing.

Maybe they can reproduce the problem. From my point of view, the template is independent. I tested it with Bianca and Layla...

Hello

Thank you for reporting this issue. I was able to replicate on our side.

I have just created a new update for the Layla template which I am hoping will resolve this issue. Could I ask you to test this update and see if the issue is indeed resolved? If yes, then I will update the other templates with the same fix.

Thanks again :)

I updated two websites with the new version of the Layla template.
It works !

if you also update the other templates, I could give you some feedback, e.g. for: bianca give...

I also confirm the function with the Bianca template (two) and riley (one) pages are now working again!
BUT a small error in the documentation (changelog) the wrong year is noted for the update. The update of the template will be in February 2022, it must be called 2023...

(I just see that the year is also wrong for other updates of templates from this year. it always says 2022!))
