Cashmere www and index.php problem

Hi, I have just installed cashmere (In a directory, not on main site) and seems to be working fine but the homepage will only work if I remove the www., otherwise I get a 404 error unless I add index.php to the url.
I have tried turning off url rewrite and seo but still the same.
I have searched for a solution but with no luck. Also even without the www when clicking on the logo to go to the homepage it has index.php on the end of the url.
Could you please tell me what I should change to get it working correctly?
The web is in a provisional location ( cliffproducciones DOT com/singular/ )

Hello

I don't believe this to be a template related issue. Are you have the same issue if you try enabling one of the default Joomla templates (beez)?

Thank you for your reply.
The www. seems to have corrected itself, probably as you say not a template issue.
I would like the Logo home link to go to the base url and not have index.php in the link though.
How can I change this?

In your templates header.php (../templates/j51_cashmere/php/layouts/header.php) you can replace the following (line 66)...


<div class="logo"> <span> <a href="/index.php" title="<?php echo $siteName; ?>">


With...


<div class="logo"> <span> <a href="http://cliffproducciones.com/singular/" title="<?php echo $siteName; ?>">


Editing the URL to match our website URL.
