I've selected the responsive option in Cashmere and it works on most pages - as the screen gets smaller the drop-down menus disappear and the alternative tablet/phone menu button appears at the top of the screen. But not on the front page!

The effect (or non-effect) can be seen in Safari and Chrome on a laptop, or on Android's default internet browser on smartphone.

Hi Erik

To amend your logo try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters which will reduce the size of your logo whern viewed on mobile portrait...

@media only screen and (max-width: 440px) {
.logo a {
left: 0;
top: 35px;
}
.logo img {
width: 280px;
}}

For the slideshow try increasing the height of your slideshow images. For best results across all screen sizes your image dimensions should match the ratio between your template width and slideshow height (1080 x 600).

Hello,
I also have some cashmere responsive issues:
Check out our site (under development): http://royalthonga.com/
When you check it on the Ipad, the logo displays very big, and de slideshow has a large gray border underneath. That's because of the 600px height setting in the j51slideshow. I can make that smaller, but then it does never display the full height of my pictures.
Any ideas?
Thank,
Erik

Hi Ciaran

spot-on as usual! :woohoo: It was the module latestweets (not a J51 mod) that was in conflict and installing JQuery sorted the problem. Many thanks again

Hi Mike

There appears to be a conflict with Joomla jQuery and one of the modules on your homepage. Try disabling each module until you find the conflicting extension. You could also try installing jQuery Easy (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/performance/jquery-scripts/18327) to ensure only one version of jQuery is installed across your site.
