Hi,

With Cashmere, while I don't have lots of main menu items, when the screen gets just a bit narrower, the main menu gets iconised too early, while there is still lots of space to accomodate the menu/items : see below before and after there has been a little bit of narrowing.

Please could you tell how I could have the main menu stay "longer" on screen while the screen gets narrower ?

Thanks,
-michel

Anybody has some CSS to have the main menu of his theme get iconised "normaly" ie not too early, when the window gets narrower ? I guess that this could happen with many themes, not only Cashmere.

Thank you,
-michel

Hi Michel

May I suggest setting us up with temporary administration access to your Joomla installation and we will make this amendment for you. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Michel

Your menu should be now displaying as you wish.

The following was removed from your templates responsive.css (line 24)..

/* Hide default hornav menu */
#hornav {display:none !important;}
/* Show mobile hornav menu */
.slicknav_menu {display:block;}

Hi Ciaran,

Thank you. I logged in using the admin account and I'm not sure seeing the difference when the screen becomes narrower : see attachment below, where there is still enough place to show menu in normal form instead of iconised.
What do you think ? Am I missing something maybe ?

Cheers,
-michel

Hi Michel

This is how we are currently viewing your menu... http://recordit.co/R718UxCppO

We figured that was as close as we could get without your logo overlapping the menu items.

Hello Ciaran,

We get very different results apparently : in my case menu items never go close to the logo : this is what I get when I slide from the right side :

Hi Michel

Ensure to do a full refresh on your browser (CTRL + F5). I suspect your browser is still loading the old CSS.
