CARMEN: Endless scrolling?

Hi folks,
I'm sure this is related to a setting I'm overlooking, but my installation of Carmen seems to have this endless scrolling effect on the homepage, both up and down. See attached screenshots of the above-header and below-footer gutter.
Can you point me in the right direction to fix this please? Or happy to share credentials, if easier.
