Hello,

Using Calibra on Windows 7 and Joomla 3.3.6, I have started with the demo exemples pack, and started to customise.

When the window is fullscreen, the alignments between Logo text versus Main menu versus Slideshow are fine, ie all centered to the middle of the window and template horizontally.
But when I reduce (drag) the width of the window (SEE ATTACHMENT), both the Logo text and the main menu seem to come non-centered relative to the slideshow below. To me it looks like the slideshow is OK because it looks centered on the below Sidecol-a and article, ie to the rest of the template.

Btw I looked to the Calibra demo on J51 demo server, and the same alignment problems seem to appear when the Window is narrower than the PC Screen.

Could you help please or indicate the "trick" or setup that I have missed (sorry if it is my fault ... cheers) ? Or maybe this is a "feature" of the responsiveness technology ?

Thank you in advance,
-michel

Hi Michel

Could I ask you to try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters and see if this helps in anyway?...

#header {
width: 100% !important;
}

Hi Ciaran,

No it does not seem to produce results.
Actually when one starts with a quite large window (in width) and then progressively interactively drags the right side od the window reducing the width, suddenly the menu and logo parts "jumps" quite a bit to the left which immediately introduces the non-centered not-aligned, which stays if one continues to drag.
The non-alignment also happens when someone open the web site in a reduced size window. Also onyour demo site with Calibra.

Thank you for your support,
-michel

Strange... would you have a URL to an example of the issue?

We have added the above CSS to the template demo. Can you check if the issue is still present there?

Hello Ciaran,

http://mairie-rochegude.agora-rochegude.fr/
is the current online example. On you PC create a window that is, say 90% of he screen the drag down to, say 60%.The problem will happen during the action I think.

HERE IS THE VIDEO: http://www.devmooc.net/capture-2.mp4

I see the same phenomenon on your demo site's Calibra too.

Thank you,
-michel

Hi Michel

Yes this is the same issue we have addressed with the above Custom CSS. A working example can be seen here... http://demo.joomla51.com/0106/

If you wish you can send temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hello Ciaran,

I checked the working example you indicate and, at least for me on my laptop, it still has a similar non-alignment issue. SEE ATTACHMENT showing your demo site with example 0106.

Yes, I'll now send you admin access info for investigation.

Thank you again,
-michel

Thank you Michel

We hope to have now resolved the issue?

#container_header .wrapper960, #header_items, #header, #logo, .hornavmenu {
width: 100% !important;
}
