Hi Ciaran,
is there a way to remove the PREV button from the bottom of some of my pages ?
or is there a way to assign where the PREV button goes to ? so far, the buttons are going to pages that don't really make sense - I would like to assign it to go to the parent menu item - or remove it altogether.
thanks!
Tami

Hi Tami

Would you have a URL to an example of the 'prev' button in question?

Try this URL
http://new.wchs.info/index.php/about-wchs/volunteering
The PREV button at the bottom of the page seems to come from the template, because it is the same teal colour that I assigned to other items in the template.
You may have trouble with the URL though, because it is a re-directed development-site URL at the hosting level, and will be changed once it goes live, so some people have had trouble copy&pasting the URL to get to the new site - sometimes it goes to the old/current/live site (http://www.wchs.info)
The PREV button at the bottom of the Volunteering page goes back to Retail Supporters page, but it makes more sense for it to go to the About WCHS page, it's parent page.
thanks for taking a look,
Tami

Hi Tami

The pagination is rendered by Joomla however is styled by the template. You can hide using CSS which can be added to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters....

.pager {
display: none;
}

Alternatively this can be hidden via the menu item settings. How the buttons are linked will depend on the ordering of your articles and your pagination settings.

Hi Ciaran, thanks for that tip -
I found the global setting for removing these PREV buttons and NEXT buttons here:
System > Global Configuration > Articles > Show Navigation (change to Hide)

thanks again for your help,
Tami
